Meet the editor of YourParenting.co.za
Sophia Swanepoel
Sophia has worked as a newspaper and magazine journalist and TV scriptwriter for 15 years. The digital bug bit and she now spends almost all her time online. That is, the time she doesn't spend with her most beautiful baby girl, Mira, and her husband.
Having just returned from maternity leave, she is as passionate as ever about sharing good, solid advice from experts, informative articles and other mom's stories.
Her other baby, YourParenting, just got a makeover and Sophia is excited to make it work for all moms and dads. So don't hold back: send all comments and suggestions her way!
Meet the magazine editors
Your Pregnancy
Editor: Jenny Collins
Jenny Collins was deputy editor of heat magazine when all of a sudden she started feeling a tad nauseous every day – and not just at the thought of Brad leaving Jen. When it was confirmed that she was indeed pregnant with not-so-little Dylan, her entire life changed.
After endlessly boring her colleagues with every small detail about her pregnancy, she realised it was time to move on. Now as editor of Your Pregnancy she gets to share this most momentous of life-changing events with pregnant moms countrywide and is loving every minute of it.

Your Baby
Editor: Clare Huisamen
I'm not the best mom in the world, I probably don't even really rate among the top 100 best moms in the world. So what qualifies me then, to be the editor of South Africa's most-loved parenting magazine?
Well, it's because I know that you don't think you're the best mom in the world either. I know that, despite your very best intentions, your baby probably hasn't been raised on organic food only, she probably doesn't have a perfect routine and you've already made loads of the mistakes you promised yourself you wouldn't (and your baby's only 5 minutes old)!
I know that being a mom is the most fun you'll ever have and the hardest, most exhausting job you'll ever do. I know that a single moment with your child can be at once agonising and magnificent, bring with it gut wrenching pain and sheer ecstasy... and I know how to spot a cover baby in a crowd, string a readable sentence together and commission articles I know you'll want to read.

Baba & Kleuter
Haar dae as harde nuusverslaggewer by Die Burger in Kaapstad was getel. Prioriteite verander vinnig as jy swanger is.
