Clean those bottles!

 

A clean bottle is essential & as we all know, milk easily leaves residue on your babys bottles. An easy way to ensure that your babys bottle is always sterilised when travelling or away from home is to always keep salt (sachets are excellent) on hand. On completion of feeding your baby. Rinse out bottle, refill with warm water & add salt, rinse out before next feed.... as clean as a sterilised bottle. Another option is to add some grains of rice into the bottle which act as mini scrubs when you swirl them around.

Instead of waking to give my 10-month-old a bottle, I place a ready prepared one in the corner of her cot at night. I show her where it is and tell her it's there for her when she wakes up and wants to drink. Now she takes her bottle and falls right back to sleep. I never get up anymore!

Never leave a chair or stool near a window or the railings of a balcony, in case your mobile toddler climbs up and falls from a height.
