In the rush of life we forget how to communicate.

Practice listening & talking: talk with your family about what you see on TV, hear on the radio or see at the mall. Talk with your kids about insects, school and their feelings. Talk to your partner about work, friends and dreams. Good communication is key to a successful family life.

Brushing Teeth

It was always a struggle to get my little one to stay still while brushing his sesitive teeth and gums. One day i decided to give him his own tooth brush while i had another one handy to really get the job done. Now at 1 year 11 months there is no more fighting and he is learning to be an independant boy.

Hairdryer!

After your baby’s bath or nappy change, dry him with your hairdryer. Not only will the warm air dry him quickly, but the "white noise" will calm him.

Kodak moment

I keep my camera fully charged at all times and hidden behind a picture frame on the bookshelf in our living room. The charger is right there too. I am less likely to miss those special moments that could be gone if I had to go searching for my camera.
