Messy toys

It's hard to live with toys strewn all over the place. Solution: your younger baby can choose several "favourite" toys that you can put into a bag. This bag can go wherever your baby is playing and you can pack up and move to another room without any fuss or toys left behind in that area. At the end of the day the bag goes into the cupboard or on a hook in your baby's room.

Getting baby to eat

Pearl (14 months) fights a lot at times to eat. She pushes the spoon away with anything attached to her that can move, arms, legs, feet and elbows. I have given her something to distract her with, her own bowl and spoon, the lid of the Purity bottle, a plastic toy, even her burp cloth. As long as she has something in her hands that will distract her, she'll eat.

Bathing

Placing a warm, wet face cloth over my baby's tummy in the bath really helps - it keeps her exposed skin warm and also gives her the reassuring sense of touch for the duration of her bath.

Crayon Marks on your walls

Spray WD40 onto the wall, wait for about 20 seconds, then wipe off with a soft cloth, it really works.
