Belly rings

Belly rings

There is no reason why you shouldn’t keep your belly ring in all the way through your pregnancy as long as it’s not bugging you.

At some stage your belly button might “pop out” and this could be uncomfortable if it rubs on your clothing.

There’s also a chance that you belly ring could catch on your clothing, bed linen or bath towel, which would not be pleasant.

I kept mine during my previous two pregnancies, i only took it out with this one cos my ob made some nasty comment that it disturbs her from working....how strange!!!

i would say take it out. i left mine in thinking that all would be well and eventually my tummy was getting so big that my belly ring was growing out. i now have a nasty, stretched scar where my piercing used to be.

Hi, I'm due 27 May and still have my belly ring in. I did change it to the flexible type when I was about 5 months along. And people who think its disrespectful to the baby are obviosulsy on the wrong bus here....

So by keeping in your bellyring for as long as it doesn't bother you, you don't LOVE and RESPECT your baby??? I am 14 weeks pregnant, and just bought myself a new bellyring with blue diamonds as we just found out it's a boy! I can't wait to wear it on holiday with my little bump and new bikini.
