I'm a 23 year old and 37 weeks pregnant. A week ago my gynae did a pelvic assessment and said my chances of having natural vaginal delivery are slim, since the head is not yet engaged and to add to that I'm a bit overweight! Is it compulsory that he should be engaged by now, can't I be given a chance for trial labour?

I am so glad you have raised this question. It is not unreasonable to want to have a trial labour- and I would encourage you to negotiate this with your doctor. many babies only engage once labour starts. Be prepared to be well monitored through labour and make sure that you remain as active and as upright for as long as you can once labour has started. You may consider getting a second opinion. Talk to your doctor and tell him how you feel.

Hy tina plz help am 24 weeks and my vigana is Alwayz ichy went to clinic to check if the is an infection But they said no so should I use something to stop It couse nw I can't even have sex
