Red Cross Children's Hospital Trust

Founded in 1994 as the independent Fundraising Arm of the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Since the beginning, the Trust has supported the hospital through upgrading its buildings, purchasing vital equipment and funding critical training and research programmes. 

What they do

The Children's Hospital Trust raises funds for fundamental paediatric healthcare needs. The trust works very closely with the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital and Western Cape Government to identify areas in the hospital that needs urgent/serious building upgrading. The Trust also supports smaller organisations who interact closely with the hospital. 

How can you help?

Your donations help build state-of-the-art facilities, training medical professionals, provide necessary equipment and support the patients and their families.

The Trust is funded by donations, ensuring 100% of all donations received are used towards the projects and programmes. Not a cent is used for administration or operational expenses.
