"I am 27 weeks pregnant, due 8 February 2012, and have first-hand felt the miracle of a little life growing inside me. I had insemination that worked first time. Now I feel my little girl “Zabrina” kick & move and I thank God for what He has given me, not to forget my supportive awesome family and friends.
My pregnancy never happened the normal way. I don’t have a husband or man in my life, but have always so desired to be a mother. I prayed long and hard about going the insemination route with a sperm donor and it's all happened.
It's been a tough journey as I am a Christian and had to deal with the normal judgmental people saying that this is not the way God intended it to happen, but I know and feel in my heart that I will give her a lot of love and she will understand that her mommy wanted her so badly that this was the only route I could go.
I have such an awesome support structure and feel so blessed to be pregnant. I know challenges face me, but I am ready for them and I know that with God on my side I can
face anything.
I want other women out there to know that even if you don’t have a man in your life, it does not mean that you can never have the desires of your heart. Zabrina will lack nothing and will be in a happy loving home where her mommy is extremely happy and ready for her arrival."

Hi Samantha Thanks for sharing your story. I am also single and have made the same choice as you - to become a mother via insemination. My first attempt didn't work sadly, but I am now waiting for the results of my second attempt. Your baby would have been born already - hope all is going well !!!Nadene
I am so blessed to have my little sister come into the world, and know that she is going to have such amazing parents that will love her and give her the best that she needs, I am very proud of you mom and remember that I am always here for u, I will help u with anything and give Zabrina all the love and care that she deserves, you are very special mom and u deserve to have Zabrina you such an amazing person and God still has much more planned for u, I love u mom and my lil Zabrina baby girl:)Raymond Browne
Samantha, Ek werk saam met jou Pa hier by AFT. Deksels hy is so trots op jou, en kan nie wag vir sy kleindogter, Zabrina. Ons hoor elke dag hoe lank nog, hoe groot sy is, hoeveel sy weeg. I UNDERSTAND HER DESIRE TO WANT A CHILD OF HER OWN TO LOVE AND RECEIVE LOVE FROM IN RETURN. I TOO HAD A DESIRE TO HAVE A CHILD OF MY OWN FOR THE VERY SAME REASONS. AND GOD RICHLY BLESSED ME WITH THREE WONDERFUL HEALTHY CHILDREN FOR WHICH I THANK HIM DAILY. SAMANTHA AS A LITTLE GIRL EXPRESSED HER WANT TO HAVE A CHILD OF HER OWN. SHE HAD MANY HEART-ACHES AND MEDICAL PROBLEMS TO OVERCOME, BUT SHE DID. I HAVE NOT YET FOUND A CHILD WHO DOES NOT LOVE AND ATTACH TO SAMANTHA YET. My Lovely Daughter(Doll), i am so proud of you doing what you did, i know it took a lot of courage, and I also knbow that you are going to be one Awesome mommy, to our little Zabrina (Princess of God). She will grow upo with all the values that you have learnt over the years. To Zabrina my little Grand Daughter, I can not wait to hold you in my arms and tell you how much you mean to all of us.
